The chart shows British Emigration to selected destinations between 2004 and 2007.

The bar chart illustrates how many British citizens emigrated in 4 separate countries, namely Australia, Spain, New Zealand, USA and France over the 3 year period since 2004.
In general, there was an upward trend in the number of emigration from Britain to 4 nations save Qustralia. It is also noticeable that the number of Australian went to another to settle down was highest during the shown period while the most significant difference can be seen in France.
In 2004, about 42 thousand residents moved to Australia to live, which marked this country rank first out of the five nations mentioned and was followed by Spain with 35 thousand. The three other country, however, were on par, in terms of attracting the same number of British with around 23.
The number of British people settled down in Spain and new Zealand decreased gradually throughout the period, ending at 27 and 20 thousand, respectively. In the meantime, the USA and France experienced considerable decreasing fluctuations in the number of British emigration. The USA with exactly 20 thousand, however, had the higher figure than that of France of about 2 thousand people. In contrast, there was an increasing trend in the number of those who emigrated in Australia to 43 thousand in the year 2007 despite fluctuation.
