Dear Matt,
Hope you are doing well. I am writing in reference to invite you to a traditional festival " Deepavali" which will happen in India next month. Let me explain in detail.
To elucidate it will be an alluring experience for you in India as the festival of lights is approaching, therefore, you must come. The celebration happens every year in the month of October to commensurate the victory of good over evil. it is said in the Hindu mythological books that Lord Rama fought against Ravana an evil soul to protect humanity. In order to celebrate the local people dress in traditional attires and light candles and lamps in their houses followed by prayers in the temples. additionally, adolescents and juveniles too celebrate by lighting crackers. Since the majority of the people practice Hinduism hence this festival is of great significance to the locals. Although the celebration begins a week in advance, however, the prayers are offered to goddess Durga on the 19th of October.
Lastly, I feel that it is necessary to experience such a celebration as such festivals happen once in a year. additionally, during the festival, my parents are going to announce my engagement so you have to be present on this special occasion.
Looking forward to your response and seeing you soon.
Best wishes
Saud
