The reading explains three fascinating elephant behaviors, while the professor believes that the reading's beliefs are unconvincing and rejects them. Since she affirms that these beliefs are as misunderstanding.
Firstly, the reading claims that elephants are informed of their own death, because they nearing the end of their life go alone to certain locations. Controversy, the professor reckons that old elephants have teeth problems and for better digestion they eat soft vegetation. In fact, they go to other location such as near water to find soft food which usually grow near the water.
Secondly, the reading affirms that they elaborate objects through art which mean that they have artistic ability. In contrast, the professor points out that they have strong ear and easily learn the tricks of painting. Furthermore, they just paint some patterns and all the time repeat same pattern. Actually, the objects which are represented by elephants are not similar to flowers or other objects.
Eventually, although, the reading introduces that another interesting features among elephants is fearing form mice, the professor affirms that this fear is due to they are not familiar with mice in some places, and they do distinct behavior which is natural among them. While in other places such as zoo they do not fear from mice, because they are living with them.
