The given pie charts illustrate proportions of energy production types in France in 1995 and 2005. Overall, it is apparently seen that during all the period the most preferred types of energy were gas, coal and petrol, while the least popular ones were nuclear energy and others.
Taking a closer look at the first chart (1995), it can be observed that coal was the most popular kind with the number slightly below of 30% of the total number. It is followed by gas and petrol energy, which are less by a tiny fraction by even lower than 1 per cent. As for the petrol, it has just over 6% of production. The smallest fraction in the market where other types of energy.
Turning tho the chart of 2005, it can be seen that cool stood as the pioneer, even with a slight increase by a percent. Similarly, Similarly, gas experienced a minor growth, while the rate of petrol in the energy market saw a dramatic decline by nearly 10%, staying at slightly less than a fifth of the total number. Regarding the remaining part of the share, both nuclear and other types of energy raised to about 10% and 9% respectively.
