The chart below shows the GDP growth per year for three countries between 2007 and 2010.
Overall, the GDP of Tunisia showed a noticeable decrease while the proportion of GDP in Japan showed the reverse. However, the growth in Ecuador's GDP was a marked decline with some fluctuation
In 2007, Tunisia revealed a significant growth in GDP, with over 6%, while for Ecuador, the GDP figure only reached almost a half as much. A very small proportion was seen in Japan. The proportion of Tunisia had fallen to the 2007 Ecuador’s GDP figure by 2010. While Ecuador’s GDP was close behind, the GDP of Japan showed a threefold increase.
Apart from the previous comparisons, overall changes were not always steady. While the proportion of Tunisia’s GDP declined noticeably in 2008, this showed a sign of stagnating to 3% in the following months. After a peak, Ecuador’s GDP plummeted to 1.1%. This was in stark contrast to the figure for Japan taking place as by far the most significant growth in GDP.
