The pie charts below show information on the highest level of education of women in Someland in 1945 and 1995. Write a report for a university lecturer describing the information in the two graphs below.
A glance at two pie charts reveals the proportion of highest degree obtained by women in someland in 1945 and 1955.
In terms of 1945, the number of women who did not receive any education at school and the number of women who got third grade account for the most proportion, namely 35%. The number of women completing grade 6, 9, 12 were 15%, 10%, 4% respectively. The percentage of female who got first degree was merely 1%. Noticeably, there were no women who got post graduate degree in 1945.
Compared to 1945, in 1955, the proportion of female who received first degree was by far the highest with 50%. It is also interesting to note that the number of women who done post graduate accounted for 20% in 1995. The percentage of women who completed 12 and 9 years of schooling was 20% and 10% accordingly. There were no women not receiving any education at school or leaving school after 6 years.
Overall, there was considerable change of level of education of female in someland within 10 years from 1945 to 1955, particularly women were better-educated.
