3- Give our opinion on the plans
Dear Sir or Madam,
I had read in our community magazine, which published last week on 24 June that the local authority is planning to build new flats and condominiums in a public park next to my home and as I one of the local resident of this neighborhood and I have some thoughts that I want to explain.
Firstly, I believe that building in this exact location may lead to catastrophic disaster. To illustrate, our local park built in 1920, and has various types of ancient trees and plants that is why it decided to be national treasure. Moreover, children and elderly goes every day to this park to play, breathe fresh air and doing sunbathing. As a result, I tend to think that this plan need some modification.
However, I understand needs to construct new apartments to absorb highly demand for new houses, but this can be reached by reconstruction outskirts areas around cities. On top of that, I believe our park needs to develop, and implants more palm trees.
I hope your newspaper explain our concern and solutions, so we looking forward to read your upcoming article about this topic.
Yours Faithfully,
Mohamed
