Write a letter to an airline manager regarding your bad experience on a recent flight. Please say
– Where and when did you fly?
– What happened on the flight?
– Give a suggestion of how this issue could be resolved or prevented.
Dear Sir or Madam,
I have been a satisfied customer of Thai Airlines for many years, travelling frequently from Delhi to all points around the country. However, I am writing this letter to complain about the extremely unsatisfactory service I had received while I flew last time from Delhi to Pune.
I have boarded the flight number T532 on 18th July, from Delhi to Pune. It was due to a technical glitch in the system while check-in that I had to travel by economy class, though I was a business class ticket-holder. It is really unacceptable error and no arrangements were being made by the airline representative present at the counter at that time to fix the issue. Not only this, the cabin crew was too impolite and my request to get an extra blanket was turned down flat. The food and drinks were served with a delay of an hour and were of poor quality.
You should definitely reprimand the crew members severely for such unprofessional behaviour. However, I am eligible for a complete refund for my business class ticket as I was forced to avail the services of economy class due to a technical issue. I will probably give Thai Airlines one more chance on my next trip but another unpleasant flight will probably be the last one for me with your company.
I am hoping for prompt action on this matter.
Yours faithfully,
Ell Green
