Recent figures show an increase in violent crime youngsters under the age of 18. Some psychologist claime get the basic reason for this is that children these days are not getting the social and emotional learning their leader from parents and teachers.
To what extent do you agree or disagree with opinion
Mentors and guardians are playing a pivotal role in the development of children during their formative years. Some of the doctors believe that there is an upsurge in acrimonious crime among teenagers is owing to their loss of interest in understanding social and emotional lessons from their tutors and parents. I am a strong advocate of the notion because these learning can teach young youngsters what is ethical and unethical actions in life.
At the outset, it is imperative to have social bonding with parents as well as from teachers to forbid children to do harsh crime. The chief reason is they learn from what they see. After looking at the type of punishments in society and they can understand what is unlawful and illegitimate. A case in point, I was told by many teachers and parents about the type of punishments given by the court which prevented me to do bitter crimes. Eventually, Crimes can be mitigated by social behavior of them with their elder ones.
In addition to that, emotional attachment is also crucial to restrain them against crime. Due to this they will spend most of their time with parents and teachers rather than outside world. By this they will know consequences of crime to victims and can refrain from committing it. To exemplify, due to my nuclear family and chapters taught by teacher that to avoid a dire repercussion doing crime should be always avoided. Consequently, Crime can be reduced by emotional connection in this category.
In conclusion, It is believed by many psychologist that lack of emotional and social connection is fundamental reason of harsh crimes among teenagers .In my opinion, although crime is increasing, it can be alleviated by proper emotional and social connection with teachers and parents.
