It is more important to work at job that you enjoy, even if the salary is low, than it is to have a high-paying job that you do not enjoy.Which do you prefer and why.
In the modern era, employees become more important for organizations rather than the past. The traditional belief used to mention workers as labor forces which are the company's facilities that should be treated like other equipment in the company's environment, but now this theory which is called classic theory is completely replicated and modern theory toward the employees is substituted, in which consider the employees as the company's asset. Therefore, decision making about the work environment and its features become much more vital in a successful organization. one of the questions which is raised in this field is about the amount of monthly salary and leisure times. some of the theorists believe that a job should be well-payed but have a limited vacation time, whereas other researchers have a totally different opinion. they admit that a job with lower salaries and more vacation time is more beneficial for the employees. I am personally contending that the latter is more beneficial. In the following paragraphs, I will expand on my viewpoint through three noticeable reasons.
The first remarkable reason is about job satisfaction and also efficiency within workers. By having more time to relax and being far from work environment, employees can focus on their private life which leads them to manage their lives more properly so that they will have less issues with their personal lives and consequently they will not bring their personal issues to the work atmosphere. these facts lead the workers to have less conflict with each other and experience a stress-free circumstance at the work. point to these details employees which are calm at their work and have enough time to manage their life will be satisfied with their job. job satisfaction causes better performance in workers, thus managers can see a higher efficiency from their workers in such circumstances. this fact went under observation once in germany. In a research which held in germany, researchers observed two groups of people, each made of forty-five individuals for six months. The first group was assigned less work hours with 10 days off in each month while the other group must work thirty days a month for about ten hours. Based on their conclusion, although the second group worked much more the other group, the quality of the outputs from the first group was dramatically better. As a result, they suggest the managers to pay a proper attention to employees’ leisure time.
Finally, one should consider the fact that having enough and regular time to spend with family or friends and going on a trip are key points in workers' behavior. spending enough time among the family is necessary and being in a friend zone is everyone’s need. because family and friends can enhance the emotional aspect of each person, which is a noticeable aspect in man's life. On the other hand, going on a trip have tremendous effect on individuals, thus having enough vacation whether with family or with friends plays a remarkable role in a peaceful soul and also having a behavior with dignity. these points were the key results of a program which English theorists held in 2014. they chose a company with one hundred workers in which almost all employees had at most one journey during each year and studied their stress levels and other personal aspects. As a result, they noticed that workers were critically suffer from lacking emotions which lead them to distract during the work and could not do their best. After these observations, they suggested the managers to provide some facilities for employees and force them to have more vacations. The output was clearly better than the previous situation that although managers should spend money for trip facilities, the outcome of the workers' performance was much more beneficial.
In conclusion, I think that having a job with enough and proper vacation time but limited salary is much better because of two reasons. Firstly, this policy can make employees to be satisfied with their work environment and this fact can lead to efficiency among workers. Secondly, spending time with family or friends is vital for each of us and its impact will be doubled if these times include fascinating trips and as a result the emotional aspect of employees will be fully fed.
