Modern Technology is now very common in most places. How do you think this has changed the way we work? Do you think there is disadvantage to relying too much on technology?

Innovations in applied science has intense effect in our day to day life especially work place. The globalization of world economies has enhanced the value of information technology.

From stone age to tech age, the ways of working got completely transformed. In earlier days, humans used to do work manually which not only takes huge amount of time, but, also need man power as well. To exemplify, earlier to pass any message to it took few days, but now because of emails and phones it can be done in few minutes. Furthermore, in jobs such as, inventories store it was very difficult to keep the track of availability of materials; many of the times the data was also incorrect, but because of computers data entry has not only become easy; however, the details are also correct.

In contrast, there are many pitfalls as well. Due to increased dependency on automation the manual effort got reduced and people has become lazy; furthermore, the man power required for these purposes also costly. To illustrate, all the machinery which was operated by hands got replaced by machines which has set commands and no manual intervention is required. Therefore, the labour required are skilled and well equipped with knowledge so costly. Additionally, these computerized machines are more prone to hacking. To exemplify, in nuclear power plants all operations are done by computers and if any spy will hack that computer a huge amount of critical information can be leaked and can cause disastrous effects.

To recapitulate, technology has its own benefits and drawbacks. On one hand it has made the work easy whereas on the other it make people more dependent on it.
