The diagram below shows how the coffee is produced and prepared for sales in supermarkets and shops.
The flow chart depicts each stage in the production of coffee before being sold in supermarkets or stores. It can be seen that there are eleven steps in the process of coffee, beginning with the harvesting of coffee beans and ending with jars of the finished products.
At the first stage in the production of coffee, farmers collect coffee beans from their trees and dry them on the ground under the heat of the sunlight. After that, the beans are roasted in a heater before it passes into a refrigerator, which allows them to cool quickly.
After cooling, the beans are crushed to form a powder. This powder is then mixed with hot water prior to being strained and put back into the refrigerator. Once the resulting mixture has been frozen, it is ground again, then passes into a vacuum in order to remove water. Finally, the coffee is packaged in jars for delivery to shops.
