You have recently started to work in a new company. Write a letter to an English speaking friend. In your letter, explain
• Why you have changed the job
• Describe your new job
• Tell him/her your other news
Dear John,
I hope this letter finds you in the best of your health and spirits. It has been a long time since we talked to each other because personal and professional engagement keeps me busy all the time.
As you know, I have been working for Eicher Tractor limited since 2009. However, I quit the job last month because the job was tiring and cumbersome. Apart from that, there was no hike in salary from last two years and I had faced problems while commuting due to distance.
Now, it is my immense pleasure to share with you that I joined Bharat training limited a few days ago. It is a quite fascinating and challenging profession that I have been dreaming of since my graduation. I am jubilant and doing well there.
Last but not least, I would like to share a few things more with you. First, our company is going to conduct a short-term training program for CAD designing. Moreover, I am not only engaged but also getting married next month. Don’t worry, I will send you an invitation card very soon.
At last, tell me what is happening in your world and how things are going? Convey my warm regards to your parents and hug Hanu.
Your friend,
Jai
