The two bar charts compares the number of people in urban and rural areas were affected seriously by 4 kinds of noise pollution during daytime and nighttime in 2007.
Overall, the figure for people were affected by traffic which were highest. In addition, more people experienced all types of noise pollution in day time compared with in night-time.
Looking at the details, in daytime traffic affected to the 64 millions people in city, this figure was at twice as high as that in rural areas. At night, 24 millions people in rural areas were affected by traffic noise, which was just a half of that number in urban. The number of residents in city were suffered from train noise in daytime and nighttime only 10 millions and 8 millions, respectively. However, with citizens live in rural areas, this figure only stood at 8 millions and 6 millions.
Turning to the other noise pollution , there were 4 millions people must be affected by aircraft during day time which was at least twice as high as that in rural areas. In rural and urban areas had a fairly equal number of residents were affected by train in nighttime which accounted for 1 million people. On the other hand, those living in rural areas were not affected by industry noise but about 1 million and 0,25 million people had to affected by industry in day and nighttime
