The bar chart compares the proportion of Australian male and female doing regular physical activity in different age groups in 2010.
It is clear that the percentages of women was higher than the figure for men in almost each age group. However, completely different age groups can be seem if we look at the specific figures for boys and girls.
The percentage of men aged between 15 and 24 who worked by hand was much higher than the figure for women, at 52.8% and 47.7% respectively. By contrast, the rate of women of 4 different age group from 25 to 64 who done regular physical activity were lower than the figure of women from 6.7% to 13%.
The proportion of women aged between 65 and over was almost same with the figure foe men at 46.7% and 47.1% respectively. While the rate of women rose overall between 47.1% and 53.3%, the figure for men jumped to around 13.3% above 39.5 of age group from 35 to 44.
