You travelled by plane last week and your suitcase was lost.
You have still heard nothingfrom the airline company.
Write to the airline and explain what happened. Describe your suitcase
and tell them what was in it. Find out what they are going to do about it.
Dear sir/ Madam
I am writing this letter to enquire about the progress on complaint i made two weeks ago regarding the suitcase i lost last week, while traveling with Oman Air. I immediately reported it to the concerned authorities and haven’t heard from them yet. I did not find my auitcase on the luggage belt, it might have been mixed with someone else’s belongings and hence I couldn’t find it.
It was a black leather suitcase with two buckles on it’s front side and a “Clair” company logo pn its right bottom. My suitcase contained a lot of important things including my work documents and my professional certifications. The work relAted documents are of an ongoing project and are confindential. It would be highly appreciated by me and my company, if they are recovered as soon as possible without being revealed. Moreover, the suitcase has some of my prettiest and expensive clothes that i were planning on wearing to a close friend’s wedding next week, hence their recovery is also needed timely.
Since i made the complaint a week ago, i would like to hear an update on what the company is doing in order to retrieve my suitcase. Oman Air is famous for its quick and quality services and I really hope that it would live up to it’s reputation and my expectations.
I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Yours truly
Aqsa Afzal
