The line graph illustrates the amount of energy consumed in quadrillion units in the USA from 1980 with projections until 2030.

As is observed from the chart petrol and oil have been consumed which are highest since 1980. While, the energy consumption from hydropower which is the lowest.

In 1980 about 35 quadrillion units which consuming from Petrol and Oil. This figure was nearly 7 times as much as compared to the amount of energy consumed from Nuclear, Solar/Wind and Hydropower. Besides, the proportion of energy from Coal and Natural Gas which stood at 17 and 20 Quadrillion units, respectively. About 25 years later, the amount of energy from Petrol and Oil increased significantly to 41 quadrillion units. While, the amount of energy from Coal and Natural Gas fluctuated around 22 quadrillion units. This situation was similarly to the energy produced from the other power which fluctuated around 5 quadrillion units.

In 2030, the amount of energy from Petrol and oil are predicted reach a peak of 48 quadrillion units. Similarly, the amount of coal energy will increase slightly to 32 quadrillion units. While, the natural gas will not change. This situation was similarly compared to Nuclear, Solar/Wind and Hydropower.
