Nowadays, the advent of new technologies has changed the information environment of human beings, by making updated data from all around the world accessible for everyone. This change makes some experts to suggest that instead of traveling to a new country, an individual could absorb all the information needed, by connecting to the internet. However, I totally disagree with this suggestion, and in this essay, I will explain the reasons behind my opinion.
First of all, traveling could not be completely replaced, since information on the internet, are sometimes biased. Generally, media are funded by governments and parties, which are following their political agendas. Therefore, one could not trust the contradicted information about a place, unless travels there. More importantly, not all the details could be transmitted through the internet. When people travel, they have an opportunity to talk to residents of a new place, observe their behaviors, and eat their foods. None of this first-handed information accessible through the web. Finally, while pictures of great monuments or museums are widely available on the internet, they are still the main attractions for tourists, when they are visiting a new city or country.
Admittedly, the Internet instead of traveling would be a practical method; Not only it saves time since traveling is time-consuming and workforces have only limited vacation time, but also it is helpful from the financial perspective, with all the high-cost of traveling. However, it seems simplistic to consider the idea that some pictures and articles, could replace the experience of being in the new place.
In conclusion, while the benefits of the internet to gather information about a new culture and place, is undeniable, it could not replace the traveling, as the first-handed source of information. It is due to the fact that media are biased, and cultural aspects of traveling are not transmittable.

The Internet provides us with information about the life and cultures of different countries, and some people say it is not necessary to visit these countries to learn about them.?To what extent do you agree or disagree with this statement?
The advent of the Internet has changed the people's lives and it is often argued by many that travelling to other nations due to getting familiar to their customs, cultures and so on is not necessary when it can be done efficiently by searching through the Internet. However, I completely disagree with the statement, from an overall perspective, there is a wide variety of reasons why I believe that travelling is essential to know about the cultures of other countries.
The primary argument in favour of this idea is that it helps to clear our misconceptions about other cultures. To specifically, a nation has a different variety of precious customs that can be distinguished from other counties. If individuals tend to get a piece of knowledge about a community, they should visit it, not only does the internet provide these facilities but also, they should spend a period of time there. writing their perceptions and attitudes about that nation, the authors' writing can not be an appeal to others. Take the Chinese behaviour as an example, the reporter broadcast the disgusting and awkward behaviour on the BBC news, while most people, interacted with Chinese, mentioned a positive perspective.
Another argument in support of travelling is that it helps people to enjoy by doing new things. Whereas numerous are susceptible to the internet's information about other societies, it probably would not be replaced as a trip. Because the internet is unable to provide a majority of activities such as tasting traditional food or wearing a costume as a reality. therefore, presenting at a specific place is essential to experience fun. For instance, there is an array of colorful sari in India to wear that people can feel the excitement. The more clothes the tourists wear, the more they feel happy.
In conclusion, there is commonly argued that the internet brings advantages for people to gain lots of information about other communities, while it seems to me that experiencing the excitement and being away of misconception owing to a nation requires presenting in the country.
