In the past, lectures were used as a way of teaching large numbers of students, but now with the development of technology for education, many people think there is no justification for attending lectures.
To what extent do you agree or disagree?
online solutions are extremely accepted among learners since they are more accessible and more efficient. Advancement in technology and the introduction of high-speed internet to homes lead to online learning platforms. These platforms are more accessible to people unlike traditional learning which required to be present in a physical place. People now can go online and by pressing a few numbers of buttons on the web start learning. Ease of concentration on the lecture is another point that makes them more interesting for learners. In contrast to large classes with a great number of students in them and distributing noises, online classes provide a silent and pleasant atmosphere where increased the concentration and stimulate the learning.
In addition, online learning offers people to learn whenever they like. People are different. Some are more efficient in the morning and some in the afternoon. Being able to choose when you want to learn is a big plus for the online learning platforms since people can arrange their learning time themselves based on their needs. This is in contradiction with the old method that you have to be present in a predetermined time which may not be matching with your personality. For example, you had to attend a class in the morning while you are more efficient in the evenings.
In summary, the learning era with large and crowded classes has been passed and online solutions as a result of technology advancement and introduction of online learning platforms are the compelling replacement to the attending to the lectures.
