Write a letter to the local planning committee. A new swimming pool is about to be built in your town, the local planning committee wants all residents to let them know where to place the pool - in the centre of town or just outside the town. Write a letter describing
• the importance of the pool
• the location you prefer and why
• Explain why the other location isn’t suitable.
Dear Sir/Madam,
I am an inhabitant of Valencia City. Last day, while reading the newspaper, my eyes captured an article about the proposal to build new swimming pool in my town as well as we are highly privileged to offer the right opinion
Our town is well equipped with facilities for different activities but it lacks a swimming pool. The people use the river flowing through our city for swimming. However, during rainy seasons swimming in the river becomes challenging and risky. To overcome the burden, building a swimming pool is essential.
The finest site for the swimming pool construction is the space located next to the indoor stadium in our town. As a swimming enthusiast I recommend this place in view of the fact that, build an an indoor swimming pool by modifying the indoor sports area which provides ample space and privacy irrespective of the age and gender. Moreover, the construction will be economical and possible.
There are plenty of locations available, still the above mentioned areas is the best suited since apartments, shops, vehicles and ongoing constructions in other locations which could cause disturbances for the people.
Hence, it is my pleasure to provide the right suggestions for the new swimming pool.
Yours faithfully,
Sd-/
