The table number 1 gives data about Fairtrade-labelled coffee sale rates in the years of 1999 and 2004 in millions of euros in the five European countries. second table illustrates banana's sales in these nations in the same years.
Overall, what stands out is that, in the both tables sales of coffee and banana had been increased totally and in some countries they were significant! Interestingly, banana's sale was decreased in two countries in 2004.
As can be seen, in the coffee table, it is evident that, switzerland sold by far the higher amount of coffee in 1999( 3 millions of euros), while sweden sold least amount in comparison with others, with 0.8 millions of euros. coffee sale rate in all nations had been on the rise in 2004 but surprisingly, uk occupied the first place by marketable acceleration accounted for 20 millions of euros, while switzerland fell to the second place with significant gap with uk(just 6 millions). Moreover, the lowest ale rate was again related to sweden, with 1 millions of euros.
Regarding t banana sale rate, it was higher in switzerland like coffee in 1999(15 millions of euros) but the lowest rate was allocated to belgium with 0.6 millions euro in the year of 1999. This sale rate had enhanced for switzerland, uk and belgium in 2004, with 47, 5.5 and 4 millions of euros respectively, whereas it had declined in sweden and Denmark by 0.8 and 1.1 millions respectively.
