Dear Amir,
I hope everything`s going well. I`m afraid I have a piece of bad news regarding our plan to meet next Monday night.
I was really looking forward to seeing you, but unfortunately, I`m not going to be able to make it. I`m really sorry that I have to call it off, particularly after such a long time no seeing you.
And what is the reason? Well, my school principal has just asked me to give a lecture at a training session in Isfahan which runs from Saturday to Monday. I thought I could rush back to Kazeroon on Monday morning, but as you know it will be a long drive, and I`m not going to arrive on time.
On a more positive point, my friends from high school and I will be having a reunion next Thursday at my place. I`m planning to invite my friends to a meal, and we are going to play the guitar, sing, dance and have fun. I am sure you are more than welcome to come along.
So sorry about next Monday, but I hope to see you at our reunion.
