Time schoolchildren (10-11 years old) spend on different home activities
The line chart indicates how much time that students from 10 to 11 years old have spent on various activities at home since 2000. As you can see from the chart, a mount of time for TV have declined over the period, whereas computer usage duration have been increased. On average from 2000 to 2003, the number of students spending time watching TV was quite stable at about 21 hours per week. By 2004, the percentage of students using TV has dropped sharply to 15 hours per week. Since then, fluctuations have not been significant until now. On the other hand, computers were used by very few students in 2000 as 3 hours per week but after that the number didn't stop going up to 2003 it was 10 hours per week. The trend of using computers seems to be constantly increasing in the following years until the present. The popularity of computers against TVs is increasing over time.
