The diagram illustrates the process on how embryos are cloned from a certain female sheep. To begin with, the following steps must have 2 different type of female sheeps, which are white and black coloured bodies.
First of all, white coloured sheep, which is called as sheep A, had its body cell taken out and the DNA that contained inside, was being extracted. Meanwhile, sheep B with black coloured body, had its egg cell withdrawn. The egg cell inside got removed and the only thing left was the nucleus.
Next, the extracted DNA from sheep A and sheep B’s nucleus, got fused together and resulted in a new embryo. Then, the fused cell in a new embryo would be placed in uterus of foster mother, which happened to be sheep B. The embryo would grow until its due time and the foster mother would give birth to a cloned lamb from sheep A.
