The following are the two schemes illustrates the accommodation provided to the students at an Australian University. The two room schemes are distinguished as double shared and single shared.
Overall, of both the schemes, basic furniture and amenities are provided in both the rooms. It is conspicuous that single shared is much more spacious than double shared.
Dimensions of double-shared room is about 6 meters in length and 4 meters in width. The charges of this plan is about $350 per week. This room plan is provided with a bookshelf, television, two beds and study desks, stove, sink, microwave, a set of table and chairs and two cupboards and along with a attached bathroom.
Size of single-shared room is about 6 meters in length and 2.5 meters in width. The weekly charges of this room is about $200/week. A key is provided separately for both the rooms. Whereas, single-shared room is equipped with lesser furniture than double-shared but amenities are equal for both the rooms. To be specific, bookshelf, cupboard, set of table and chairs, are not included in the scheme of student room for one person.
