Job satisfaction
According to the passage, job satisfaction is dependent on three major contributors, sense of community, sense of security, and some levels of autonomy. The lecture provides further information that endorses the main points in passage.
For the first thing, the passage explained how membership of a favorable work society helps the workers to feel satisfaction. The lecture gave the small work groups of three to fifteen members as a good example of teamwork that helps the people to perceive themselves both socially and emotionally connected. This in turn results in positive attitudes and enhanced motivation. Therefore, the productivity of a small group leads to a sense of satisfaction and fulfillment in the team.
Second, the security which is derived from the system reliability is another crucial factor that is highlighted in the passage. The lecture also indicated that small work groups with clear goals experience a significant level of contribution in the team susucces. Thus, they realize that their skills and efforts have a part in the success of a whole system.
Finally, the passage expressed that a job holder with a high level of autonomy experiences an accentuated level of job satisfaction. The lecture is also in complete agreement with the passage. It explained how small work groups give a voice to the workers. Therefore, they feel as having a part in controlling the factors that influence the atmosphere of their job, as well as their productivity.
