Do you or disagre withe the folowing staement? Governments should spend more money in support of the arts than in support of athletics such as state-sponsored Olympic teams.
It goes without saying that from ancient times to this contemporary modern era, emperors and governments have preoccupied with the concern that their societies should provide diverse assortments of entertainments and activities; arts and sports are no exception to this very notion. While many policymakers and practitioners believe that governments should allocate a considerable budget to art skills, others stand at the other side of the continuum, hold the view that the government's financial concern should direct toward athletic activities like Olympic teams. Governments should prioritize art and spend more money to support arts and artistic works as far as I am concerned. The reasons to substantiate my viewpoint are elaborated upon hereunder.
To begin with, it is crystal clear that art is a good indicator of the historical and cultural background of a community. The support of which is a lens through which people can gain knowledge about a country. To be more specific, when a government spends financial allocation to support art, they are indirectly influencing people's long-lasting desire to become diagnostic with the historical and cultural background of society. Undoubtedly, art is a precious treasure that will quench the thirst of enthusiastic people to become aware of society's experiences and revolutions. An example can drive this notion home .in my country's context, various galleries, and exhibitions are being set up by financial support of the government, especially in the metropolitan cities which attract considerable tourists .when tourists and foreigners visit these art galleries, they become familiar with the beauty, uniqueness, and elaborate works of artisans which resembles my county's enriched historical and cultural background. Painting exhibitions of well-known painters are a compelling example that paves the way for different people to appreciate the work's delicateness and learn about past generations' cultural and historical values in some pieces of art. It plays as Unversity of humanitarian and fine art as well,
Moreover, any art and artistic works can be considered a good source of income for many people; thus, governmental financial support can change artists' way of living. In other words, some people and individuals should be called an artist because the handwork they produced is unique. For example, many of these so-called-artists afford their living substance by selling and auctioning their products and items. When the government supports these individuals, they will be positively reinforced to work even more challenging. The result of the society's economic status will improve. Under such circumstances, more and more people will call into work as entrepreneurs in art galleries and enrich themselves. To put it into a vivid picture, Italy - is known for its clothes fashion -started up art workshops to find talented people. Having in these workshops and having a good command of the clothing industry, these people earned their own money and flourished, contributing to the bloom Italian economy.
In conclusion, taking the aforementioned analyses and cases into account, it is an inevitable result that advocating the arts is a more rational policy compared to allotting more major funds the state-athletic teams owing to supporting arts apprise people of their history and cultural prominence, and create an essential source of capital for the country.
