The maps below show the changes that took place at the seaside resort of Templeton between 1990 and
2005.
The diagram depicts the transformation of the Tampleton recreation area adjacent to sea, comparing the infrastructure of the region in 1990 whit that in 2005.
First of all, the railway line had been extended south-west along the shore, drawing visitors to the resort from south. In the south-east corner planners had constructed the ferry connection as well as built up a new airport with the aim to increase the comfort of travelers commuting to this recreational area.
What is more, planners had introduced a complex of apartment houses on the site that hosted a number of individual houses along the coast west of river. This transformation had ultimately closed the increased appetite of visitors for appealing accommodation options. In addition to aforementioned changes, a cluster of condos opposite to the apartments, a supermarket in a neighborhood area and three more apartment hotels besides the lake were situated in the resort.
To summarize, after these infrastructural changes implementation, the needs of visitors were better served meeting the demand for new accommodation, travel ports and supermarkets.
