The use of water in six regions of the world in various sectors.
The diagrams compare the consumption of water in three different sectors, as industries, agriculture, and household for six distinct regions worldwide.
Overall, it is clear that Asian and African regions constitute the voluminous usage in domestic activities, while European and American contributes a major portion in agricultural and industrial usage.
Looking at the details, countries accounting for the highest of household water usage are Africa, Central Asia, and South East Asia proportionally more than a quarter less to hundred. Regarding domestic usage, Central Asia contributes the highest with 88%. Furthermore, their industrial and farming contribution is just around 10% of the total usage, with South East Asia having a maximum of them about 12 percent for the manufacturing sector.
In contrast, North America and Europe registered the highest portion of usage in industries, with 48 percent and 53 percent respectively. In addition, these regions again account for the maximum in agricultural utilization of water, 13%, and 15% respectively.
