The diagram illustrates how energy from the Sun is trapped by the greenhouse gases.
It is clear that this is a natural process with the main factor being the Sun.
First of all, energy from the Sun reaches the Earth as heat. Subsequently, some of this heat is radiated into space, whereas some of it is trapped by greenhouse gasses. In addition, energy from the Sun is reflected in the atmosphere. Moreover, greenhouse gases are also formed by human activities. The emission from the factory as well as using vehicles contributes extra carbon dioxide into the atmosphere by burning fossil fuels. Additionally, the trees that absorb carbon dioxide are cut down that lead to the fact that the amount of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is not able to reduce.
Overall, this is a natural process but human activities play an important role in the amount of carbon dioxide produced.
