Dear Sir,
I am Shreyas Parab, the resident of Indralok, Bhayander. This area is newly developed and populated by the residents with an increase in the number of buildings. As a result, transportation is becoming an issue.
As this town is in the city's outskirts, most people travel to Mumbai to earn their bread. During peak hours, that is in the morning and evening, the bus stops get crowded, and people are hanging on the doors to reach on time. Such life taking the risk can prove fatal if the service does not improve.
Moreover, considering women's safety concerns, it is difficult for them to embark on the bus. With the increase in a rush, it is inappropriate for them to travel on the same bus as men's travel.
The BEST corporation should invest in increasing the number of buses for this area, during office hours to travel safely. Above that, if there are separate arrangements for females, it will be a better situation during rush hours. Requesting to address this problem at the earliest, and the letter's copy is also sent to the local newspaper.
