What is your opinion about this?
In some parts of the US, teenagers are not permitted to go out after a certain time unless they are with a grown-up. This essay totally agrees with this because it is dangerous for young people to be out late at night and they are irresponsible when it comes to making decisions.
Firstly, children should remain at home at night because the outdoor world is high-risk. There is an increase in violent crimes these days, which leads to adolescents being more vulnerable. The people who are between 13 and 19 are still not enough ability to against if they are assaulted. Therefore it is safer for them to stay at home under caring of their parents. For example, the number of Vietnamese pedophilia victims currently has been seen a significant rise, and the majority of those cases have happened at late hours of the night.
Secondly, the minors are reckless in their actions. They do not anticipate the consequences, so they tend to make mistakes. If parents set a curfew for their children, the juveniles will not be stuck in trouble. For example, a large number of young people were under arrest by police because of driving over the restricted speed and causing accidents in the late night.
In conclusion, I believe adolescents should not be allowed to go out in the late hours of the night because they are unable to protect themselves from danger. The house is safe for them, and it will help them to avoid making wrong decisions.
