Presented the figure illustrating the uninterrupted process of water above and below the surface of the earth. Overall, there are four stages in the cycle, beginning with the evaporation ocean changes into water vapor in the air and ending with the saltwater intrusion.
Looking at the first stages of the process, we can see that saltwater in the ocean will evaporate into 80% of the total water vapor in the air to create clouds. It is precipitated and moved into rainy. Next, the result of those will become lakes or Snow Mountains.
In the following stages, the water storage in lakes is extracted into groundwater; accordingly, snow on the peak of mountains vanishes into surface runoff and under impervious layers. Finally, both of them run into the ocean and will be a saltwater intrusion. The progress will continue in the water cycle, which is the uninterrupted water movement on the surface’s earth.
