Essay topics:

The graphs below show the numbẻ and the percentage of children (age 0-14) and young people (15-24) in the Australian population from 1958 to present, and projections until 2038.

The two line graphs illustrate the children and youngsters's proportion and how many they are in the population of Australia from 1958 to present, and the visualization extends to 2038.

As can be inferred from the graph, the rate of these two groups in Australia's citizens experienced a slight downward trend and still drop marginally in the near future. In contrast, the figure in number of people aged from 0 to 14 and 15 to 24 went up steadily from the past until present and in 2038, this number will record a higher signal.

In 1958, the percentage of teenagers accounted for roughly 15% in the total number of residents in Australia. Subsequently, this figure dropped gradually to about nearly 10% between 1993 and present (2018) and it is forecasted that this rate will remain stable in the future period from now to the year 2038. A similar pattern was witnessed in the proportion of people in the age of 0 to 14, the figure in 1958 was about 30%, before dropping significantly to 20% in 2018 and in the near future, this percentage is believed to show a slightly decrease.

An opposite allocation can be seen in the quantity of kids and young adults in terms of Australian population. At the beggining of the period, the children's number aged from 0 -14 was about 3 millions. From then on, this figure went up fractionally and was well over 4 millions children in 2018. It is also promised that the number of this group will go up steadily between 2018 and 2038. Similarly, the population of youngsters was approximately 1 million people, before raising up to well over 2 millions juveniles in 2018 and this figure will still show an upward trend in the years to come.
