The table and bar charts provide information about pilot in one country for the following years, 1996, 2006 and 2016 based on gender and age.
Over the years, the number of pilots in one country increased in numbers. The gender bar chart depicts that the female pilots dominated in numbers compared to males in all the three years. The age bar graph shows a comparison of pilot s in one country categorized as pilot s under 30 years of age and the other over 30 years.
It can also be noted that the gap between males to female’s ratio decreased over every 10 years. While the percentage of males grew from 25% to nearly 40% in 20 years, the female pilot’s percentage decrease from staggering 75% in 1996 to 60% by 2016. Further, in 1996 the male to female ratio was 25:75 which changed in 2016 to 40:60 with the increase in male pilots. The age graph reveals that the pilots under 30 were the highest, nearly 30% more in 1996 which changed in 2006 where over 30 years of age was a larger by nearly 20%. However, this gap reduced and was nearly at 50:50 by 2016.
