Dear Jini,
How are you? Hope this letter finds you well. I’ve finally managed to put pen to paper to say why I had not been able to return the electric guitar I borrowed from you last week. Actually, I accidentally damaged it and I am really guilty for that.
Yesterday, by mistake one of the strings of the guitar got twisted while I was practicing for my rehearsals. Initially I tried to fix it on my own, and in the process of doing so the bolts of the guitar opened and all the strings came out. Although I had repaired my guitar many times, this one was of a different model so I couldn't handle it properly. I’m again so sorry that this happened.
I’ve gathered all the pieces and kept them safe to be sent for repair to the best musical instruments’ shop in the city. They’ve already started with the repair work and will return the guitar by the end of this week. I'll personally bring it to you as soon as I receive it.
I'd like to apologize to you again and hope that you'll forgive me.
