Professional athletes are often idolized by young children. Some people think that they, therefore, have a responsibility to be good role models at all times for children.
Do you agree or disagree?
Sport is an integral part of human life especially young people. Young people often idolize professional motivations and learn according to their gestures and gestures. So there are a lot of people who think that athletes always have a responsibility to be good role models for children, but I don't think so.
Professional athletes are talented people, always striving non-stop to be able to improve themselves in all circumstances. That persistence of professional athletes is an inspiration, a motivation for young people today. For example, Neymar, a brilliant striker for Paris Saint, has revealed to a reporter that Messi is an idol, is an endless source of inspiration, someone you've always wanted to be. In addition, Paul Pogba, the Juventus midfielder, once said, Andrea Pirlo and Paul Scholes greatly influenced his play.
However, we humans are not perfect, not even professional athletes, so they will still make mistakes and we should not force them to be perfect role models. Being a person without defects can make them feel stressed. and sometimes it makes them do things they themselves never dared to think about in order to return to their original self. This was evident in Simone Biles' withdrawal from the Olympics. She decided to withdraw from the competition because she wanted to put her mental health first.
I think professional athletes don't have to be perfect people, shining examples. They should be themselves who have good points and weaknesses like everyone else.
