Looking at the details, as regards the figures for collected waste in 2011, paper was number one with 57 tons of waste, just ahead of glass with 48 tons. Meanwhile, ranked third place was tins waste at 35 tons, as opposed to 32 tons of garden waste.
However, the amount of waste paper hit a trough of 40 tons in 2013 before increasing significantly to 70 tons in 2015. By contrast, for other gatherable waste such as glass, tins and garden, four-year period witnessed the same marginally fluctuations which ended with 52 tons, 39 tons and 35 tons respectively in 2015.
