The given table chart illustrates data about age, yearly income, and population below the poverty line in three different states in the United States in 2000.
Overall, it is clear that people under 18 years accounted for the largest proportion in Utah but people 65 years old were lowest in the three states. In addition, the average income per person and the percentage of poor people in California were the largest.
People under 18 years made up 32,20% of the Utah population compared to 27,20 % and 22,70% of people living in California and Florida, respectively. In contrast, there was only 17,6% of citizens who are 65 years old lived in Florida, while the figures for people inhabiting California contributed just 10.6% and Utah accounted for 8.5%.
Turning to average income per capita, the highest proportion of annual income was at $22,711 of California, followed by Florida and Utah, at $21,557 and $18,185, respectively. Meanwhile, California was the state where the proportion of the poor population was highest with 14.2%, while Utah and Florida states were lower percentages of needy people, 9.4% and 12.5%, respectively.
