The bar graph depicts the number of students who chose college subjects in 2005. In general, the graphic divides students into groups of boys and girls and sorts them by subjects. Female students tend to choose arts, languages, and social sciences. In contrast, the boys' favorite subjects were science and math.
The number of female students choosing their favorite subject from the highest under 25,000 to the lowest just under 5 thousand, the difference is much. Female students chose languages, social sciences and arts the most, but math the lowest.
There is a significant difference. Male students chose science and math subjects the most. Their highest number of choices is up to 20 thousand while language is the lowest chosen subject by boys with less than 5 thousand. The language subject shows the contrast between the female choice and the male choice with a difference of more than 20 thousand. In addition, both male and female students have the same number of humanities majors to study, at more than 10 thousand.
