Overall, major portion of sodium and saturated fats is consumed during dinner, while snacks hold maximum amount of sugar.
Firstly, to begin with breakfast and snacks have equal percentages of sodium that is 14% and lunch is at 29%, almost double of the former two. The remaining and maximum portion comes by dinner. In case of saturated fats, the dinner holds the first position at 37%, followed by lunch which contributes about 26% of the total. Additionally, the first meal in the morning has 16% fats which is less than second meal of the day by 10%. Last but not least, snacks has 21% the saturated fats.
Snacks is mainly composed of sugars, and hence contributes about 42% towards the total sugar intake. The sugars in the dinner is less than half of the sugar in snacks at 23%.
