The graph shows the amount of fruit produced in four countries (France, Spain, Germany and Turkey) from 1970 to 2010.
The line graph provides information about how much fruit was produced in some certain countries: France, Spain, Turkey and Germany between 1970 and 2010.
In general, it is immediately apparent that the amounts of fruit made in France and Germany were located in the highest and the lowest position respectively in 1970, and followed a downward trend over a 40-year period. However, in the meantime, the total amount of fruit in Spain and Turkey were on an upward trend and this figure in Spain reached the highest point in 2010.
There was a significant decrease of around 4 million tons of weight of fruit in France; a similar trend was true for the figure in Germany. The amount of fruit produced in France was about 8 million tons more than that in Germany, and this gap did not change much from 1970 to 2010 between the two countries. In 2010, Germany became the country that had the lowest amounts of fruit produced, just above 2 million tons.
In contrast, the amounts of fruit in Spain and Turkey underwent a noticeable increase over a 40-year period. The gap between Spain and Turkey became larger in 1990, Spain produced 4 million tons of fruit more than that in Turkey. In 2010, while the former made 16 million tons of fruit, the latter had exactly 12 million tons.
