Essay topics:

The pie charts and the table show the types of living accommodation occupied by 25-year-olds in London during the 1990s and the 2010s, and the availability of different types of accommodation in London during the same two periods.
Summarize the information by selecting and reporting the main features, and make comparisons where relevant.

The pie charts and the table show 25-year-olds’ accommodation and the availability of different types of housing in London during the 1990s and the 2010s. Since 2010 the less number of 1-2 bedroom houses and flats has reduced the housing choices for this age group.
Shared accommodations has become the most common types of housing in London for 25-year-olds in the 2010s. In the 1990s, less than half of those surveyed were living in shared houses or flats. In the 2010s, this number has grown to around 75 percent of 25-year-olds. The higher number could be due to the increase of larger houses and flats during this period.
There was also a drop in the number of people living alone. In the 1990s, around a quarter of 25-year-olds lived alone in London. Since 2010 this figure has decreased because of the reduction in the availability of 1-2 bedroom houses or flats. In the 1990s, there were 34000 1-2 bedroom houses and 32000 1-2 bedroom flats available. These firgures have dropped to 12000 and 10000 from 2010 onwards.
Finally, living with parent have become less common. There was a reduction in the number of 25-year-olds living with parents from a third in the 1990s to under a quarter in the 2010s.
