Overall,Its clear that government in mainland Europe sent far more money on roads and transport than UK and USA.Furthermore,its obivious that UK spent leastest money thoughtout all time in the period.
In 1990,Portugal spent most amount of money on road and transport at approximately 27%,followed by Italia spent about 23% of amount of money,which is smaller than Portugal approximately 4%.Howerver,Portugal withnessed a significant decline.From 1995 to 2000,
the amount of money sliped from about 24% to nearly right 22% and reached a low point in 2005 at 20% percent,while Italia had a fluctuate trends.Between 1995 and 2005,Italia reached a high point in 2000 at approximately 30% and started to decrease.
in other hand,amount of money that government spent in UK and USA were smaller than Italia and Portugal and both had amount of money from 10% to approximately 15%.Then,the UK and USA had both increased spending in 2000 by about 3%.In 2005, all countries except USA further reduced their spending with Portugal, Italy, UK and the USA at 20%, 19%, 8% and 15% respectively.
