The line graph illustrates the number of universities graduated people in term of gender in Canada over the period from 1992 to 2007.
The general overview here is that the amount of graduated females always surpassed by graduated males. To specify, the number of male graduates increased insignificantly from 98000 in 1992 to 104000 in 1995, before a slight drop to 100000 in 1998, followed by a light climb to 105000 in 2001. Since then, the figure went up dramatically and reached the peak of nearly 150000 in 2007.
In comparison, after a gradual increase from 70000 in 1992 to 77000 in 1995, the number of Canadian women graduated from university fell slightly to 71000 in 1998. Next, the fluctuation of this number was seen in the period between 1999 and 2002, before a considerable rise to 97000 in 2007. Interestingly, only in 1998 did the number of both males and females stay at the lowest point.
In conclusion, the number of graduates in Canada would follow an upward trend.
