It is widely known that there have been many changes in our lives for over years. There are some people who advocate that life is better nowadays than it used to be 100 years ago whereas others do not support this idea. In my opinion, I agree with the former's viewpoint because of some major reasons which will be pointed out in this essay.
First and foremost, it is axiomatic that human health has improved dramatically over years and people are now living longer thanks to the advancements of medecine and science. For example, the diseases which caused the death of a huge number of people in the past, have a treatment nowadays. Moreover, the doctors and hospitals are equipped with many sophitiscated, specialized and latest high-tech medical treatments and diagnostic facilities to detect and prevent diseases quickly and effectively.
Secondly, in terms of entertainment, people can use a lot of modern technologies such as laptop, headphone, webcam, CD player or Internet, to satisy with theirs needs and enjoy their lives. For instance, it is easy and convinient for us to chat to our relatives and friends although they are far away from you. Besides, we can travel abroad easily on account of the supports from tourist agencies.
Last but not least, it is undeniable that economy has been growing rapidly in recent decades. As a matter of fact, it is worth mentioning that unemployement and homeless rates are descreasing remarkably and the income rate increases slightly in these days. Additionaly, there appears a lot of factories, industries, shopping malls, markets and skyscrapers, which result in the comfort and satisfaction of people are going up.
From what have been discussed above, a conclusion can be drawn that the current life is more advantageous and relaxable as compared to the past. That is why I am firmly convinced that we live better currently.
