It is widely known there are many changes in our life. But, sometimes people ask if these changes are relevant enough to say that we live better nowadays than in the past.

First of all, the health system has great improvements owing to the new technological advances in medicine. For example, at present doctors have sophisticated equipment to detect and prevent diseases from probable deteriorations. For this reason, nowadays many illnesses have a cure with their respective treatment.

Secondly, the entertainment world has a significant evolution due to new technologies. Our way of communicating has changed. For instance, we have the chance of meeting with our friends or relatives through a webcam on a smartphone or PC. This advance is very useful because you can watch them and you can talk with them while they display on the screen.

Apart from the previous points, the Human Rights play an essential role in a democratic society. The legislators are fighting against the vulnerability of Fundamental rights. An obvious example it could be they create many laws which protect a group of people who is discriminated because of the sex, race, age or any other personal characteristic.

To sum up, not only the new technologies associated with medical investigation help us to have better health but also they make their way of communicating to be easier. While the Human Rights have international ambit and we can defense them. That is why I agree on we live better currently than in 100 years ago
