In the era of globalization, multitasking tends to be more and more ubiquitious across the globe due to its paramount importance. Although this trend has a plethora of merits, numerous demerits are also there which will be elaborated in up coming paragraphs.
On the other hand, we can obtain huge benefits of multitasking. One of the most significant advantages is that multitasking helps increase efficience. It means that people can complete more tasks at the same time and save a lot of time.
Another major positive aspect is that people can improve their metal concentration. This is because multitasking keeps the brain active. For example, increasing working efficiency with numbers and calculations.
Thirdly, it helps people become more flexible. People decide when and how to complete each task.
On the other hand, there are several drawbacks of multitasking. One of the remarkable downsides of multitasking is that people can suffer from health problems. This is because they have to focus on doing many things for a long time, leading to various diseases, such as headaches and backaches.
Another crucial negative aspect is that it decreases the quality of work. Because people do many other things, it leads to making mistakes easily, and they may not complete tasks.
Finally, multitasking too much can make people feel tired and bored. This is because it decreases mental and physical health, and multitasking leads to stress more easily.
To sum up, there are both positive and negative of multiasking. I am profoundly convinced that human beings had better learn how to maximize the pros as well as minimize the cons of this phenomenon.
