Essay topics:

Write a letter to your oldest friend. Tell her what you miss about her and share some memories and stories.

Dear Tony
It has been a really long time since we last saw each other at high school. I can't believe that it's been six years since I last saw your face or heard your voice! I am sorry for not being there in real life when it mattered the most. I miss you so much right now and want to recall all priceless memories from those times we spent together.
How have you been, Tony? I hope you are doing well. I have been teaching for 5 years since we graduated. Every day, seeing my students doing all kinds of school stuff reminds me a lot about our high school time. After all these years, the memories about you and me were still clear, sometimes I feel like it just happened yesterday. Remember when we first met, I was 17 when I saw you in the library looking for a book. Somehow, we ran into each other and fell to the floor. It was not a nice beginning, but then we found out that we were finding the same book. We spent hours talking about that book and other school things. As time went by, we became close friends and started going to the same university. I really missed the old crazy things we did there: from when we had to burn the oil midnight for exams, from singing karaoke until 3 am, from studying in the library after school and also making fun of each other all day long. You were always so amazing to me. You always knew what was going on with me and always knew how to work things out without having to think about them for too long. For me, it's not the same thing with my other friends. It's hard for them because they don't know what I'm going through or what they should do to help me out.
So I just wanted to tell you that no matter how many months or years go by, nothing will ever change how much I care about you and how much I miss you. And that if there's anything that can bring us back together, then please let me know because this distance is too hard for me to carry on my own anymore...
Love always,
Rima Hải Yến
