49)People work because they need money to live. What are some other reasons that people work? Discuss one or more of these reasons. Use specific examples and details to support your answer.
Money is essential for everyone to lead a comfortable life. Without money there is nothing can be done in this whole world. People respect others only if they have money and status in the society. Some people do work but for other reasons.
First of all, people work to practice their skills and acquire knowledge, experience which is very essential for future growth. Nowadays, it is very difficult to get job in required fields. And it is very necessary to practice what we studied in school and college. For example, after my graduation, it was difficult to get a job because of recession. So i decided to work for free with a auditing company. For seven months i worked and gained profound knowledge, experience and communication. This helped me to practice my skills and made me confident in life.
In addition, some people like to work for society by helping below poverty people, special needs children, join NGO and work for people welfare. In this busy life it can be hard to find time to volunteer. There is lot of benefits from doing voluntary work- improves contacts, it is good for our mind and body, brings fun and fulfillment to life, advances career and many more. People find happiness by helping others. It motivates and gives self-satisfaction. Always we cant think from the aspect of money or earning something equivalent to money, humanity plays a very important role in everybody's life. For instance, i teach few children at home without taking money. This makes me happy and beneficent to children's family.
Furthermore, involving ourselves by doing something where money won't play the role and provides opportunity for personal development. This also a part of success in life.
In short, always money is not that major thing in life, there is some much to learn beyond that. Practicing and gaining knowledge, contributing to the society for others livelihood, motivating others and self motivation is always needed to achieve something in life.
